About me.

I studied my HND in Fashion and Design at Solent university.  I graduated in 1990 with a merit. My specialist subjects were pattern cutting,  tailoring and garment manufacturing.

I spent my apprenticeship at a specialist wedding dress designer and manufacturer.

For several years I taught fashion and sewing in various educational establishments.

I spent four years instructing and working in a denim jeans manufacturing factory.

In 1999 I set up my business and became a self employed clothing alterations tailor.

For many years I had a large corporate client base including many high end boutique shops in Winchester, including :

Cadogan and Co,

LK Bennett,

Hobbs,

Phase Eight,

Little London,

Beales department store,

Gieves and Hawkes,

Any many more.

When covid happened, I had to alter my business plan as many of the high street shops fell victim to the lack of business and the increase in online sales. I opened up my business to more private clients and then to the general public. I have consistently been busy with tailoring work and have little need to advertise as my business is recommended by word of mouth locally.
